A Day in the Life of Wellspring Wisconsin
Every day at Wellspring Wisconsin is filled with fun activities, the opportunity to learn new skills, and time with friends. Here is what you can expect from a couple of typical days at camp.
Typical Day # 1
- Morning Walk: Follow the campus nature trails to get started on your goal of 10,000 steps.
- Breakfast: French toast with syrup and turkey sausage, fresh fruit, and yogurt, followed by self-monitoring.
- Basketball: After stretching and a warm-up, you work on dribbling techniques and then play a full court game.

- Fitness Class: Head upstairs to the Fitness Center for kickboxing.
- Lunch. Pita pizzas, pasta salad, lentil soup, and salad bar, followed by self-monitoring.
- Group Session with Behavioral Coach: Today you're working on handling peer pressure at school and parties.
- Snack: Caramel rice cakes, bananas, or pretzels.
- Pool Time: Your choice of water aerobics, volleyball, or lap swim.

- Shower/Bunk Time: Just enough time to catch up with friends for a quick board game before heading to dinner.
- Dinner: Grilled chicken, steamed veggies, and salad bar with frozen yogurt for dessert, followed by self-monitoring
- Game Night: Head to the lounge for ping pong, foosball, and board games, with a snack of air-popped popcorn.
- Lights-Out: Back to your dorm for a great night of sleep.
Typical Day # 2
- Morning Walk: Heading down to the track for a walk/jog.
- Breakfast: Egg Beaters with turkey bacon and toast, or cereal with milk, and fresh fruit, followed by self-monitoring.
- Sand Volleyball: A lesson on serving, followed by a few fun games.
- Nutrition Class: Head to the grocery store with your group to find lower fat substitutes for your favorite snack foods.
- Lunch: Chicken fajita wraps with rice, veggies followed by Self-Monitoring
- Group Fitness Class: Try a Laughter Yoga class to leave you feeling strong, energized and grinning.
- Snack: Fat-free brownies, just like the ones you made in Culinary Class yesterday!
- Canoe Trip: Head off campus to paddle and enjoy the sunshine.
- Shower/Bunk Time: Time to rest up before the evening activities.
- Dinner: Pork tenderloin, corn, and baked potato with Jell-O for dessert, followed by self-monitoring.
- Ceremony: Celebrate the week's successes at the weekly campfire ceremony.
- Lights Out: Time to rest up for another great day tomorrow.
