Weight Loss Camp in Wisconsin
Located on the waterfront next to the serene waters of Lake Michigan, Wellspring Wisconsin is ideally situated for teens and young adults from all over the Midwest who are looking to make healthy lifestyle changes. This year we’ve moved locations to Carthage College to be closer to Chicago. With comfortable lodging (including private bedrooms!) in dorms, world-class fitness facilities, and easy access to great outdoor recreation opportunities, Wellspring Wisconsin promises a summer of fun and friendship in a supportive and welcoming setting.

Wellspring Wisconsin is easily accessible from points all over the Midwest, including Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, and Chicago. Families may choose to drive to camp, and we offer airport pick up service at Chicago O’Hare (ORD) on session start and end dates.

Wellspring Wisconsin Facilities
Our campus offers a full range of top-notch facilities for swimming, fitness classes, personal training, and team sports. Over $130 million in renovations and new construction over the last decade equips Carthage College as a one of a kind facility- one we’re excited to use for our Wellspring Wisconsin program. The athletic facility contains a 40-meter, 16-lane swimming pool, indoor rock-climbing wall, 200-meter indoor track, baseball practice area, racquetball courts, and many multi-purpose courts for basketball, volleyball, and tennis. A 5,000 sq. ft. strength training facility includes free weights, universal machines, and cardio equipment.

Outside, campers have access to beautiful playing fields, miles of walking trails where they can observe the stunning scenery on the 80-acre campus, and a sandy beach right next to beautiful Lake Michigan.
Campers live in comfortable, modern dormitories, with private bedrooms in a shared suite. Dorms are divided in sections by gender, and reserved for our private use during summer months. Roommates are determined by Directors based on age, interests, and length of stay. On-site laundry facilities are available in each building, and campers make use of shared lounges for relaxing together after fun and challenging days. All meals are served in a beautiful dining hall, which feels nearly as familiar and comfortable as the kitchen at home by the end of the summer.
