Here's a quick look at two typical days at Wellspring Texas:
Typical Day # 1
- Morning Walk or Activity: You're already on your way to reaching your 10,000 step goal!
- Breakfast: Enjoy French toast with syrup and turkey sausage, yogurt and fruit, followed by self-monitoring.
- Off to the Pool: Swimming relays followed by water aerobics class.
- Personal Training: Today you're working on building upper body strength using free weights.
- Lunch: BBQ chicken sandwiches, pasta salad, vegetable soup, and a plate of fresh veggies, followed by self-monitoring.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: It's one of your 2 weekly group sessions, this one focused on handling stress at school.
- Snack: Grab some baked chips or fat-free chocolate pudding on your way to the gym.
- Afternoon Biking: A favorite activity and a great workout.
- Shower or Bunk Time: After a quick shower, you meet your friends in the lounge for some down time.
- Dinner: Buffalo spaghetti, steamed veggies, and a big salad from the salad bar, followed by self-monitoring
- Dance Party! Laugh with your friends as you dance the night away.

Typical Day # 2
- Morning Walk: Before Wellspring, you had no idea you enjoyed being active in the morning.
- Breakfast: Egg Beaters with salsa and English muffin or oatmeal, fresh fruit and cottage cheese, followed by self-monitoring.
- Tennis: Learning how to serve as you go through a series of drills and fun games.
- Nutrition / Culinary Class: Today you're learning how to make quick (fat-free) quesadillas and fruit salad for an after-school snack. Yum!
- Hi-Ya! Aerobic Kickboxing Class: Punching, kicking and laughing as you get a great workout.
- Lunch: Chicken fajita wraps with rice, lentil soup, and fresh fruit, followed by self-monitoring.
- Tubing Trip: Down the Colorado River you go, splashing your friends and enjoying the sunshine.
- Snack: Fat-free brownies as you head down to the playing fields.
- Camp Games: Capture the flag, leapfrog and tag make for a fun summer afternoon.
- Shower/Bunk Time: Writing letters home to let your friends know how much fun you're having.
- Dinner: Pork tenderloin, corn, and baked potato with Jello for dessert, followed by self-monitoring.
- Evening Talent Show: Sing, dance, laugh, and enjoy a fun night together.
