Wellspring New York Trips
Trips are a big part of the fun at a summer camp, and Wellspring New York is no exception. We decide our major trip dates ahead of time because so many of campers want to plan their enrollment around trip dates.
Many campers like to plan their stay at Wellspring New York around our trip schedule, so we plan it as early as possible every year. Campers earn the right to participate in special trips based on meeting the requirements of the Wellspring Level System, which rewards campers for positive behavior and consistent effort towards activity goals. All of the trips included in the schedule below are free for campers.
Six Flags Great Escape Amusement Park (July 3)
Six Flags Great Escape is known for providing some of the greatest thrill rides in the country, including wooden roller coasters, a 200-foot drop tower, and a full water park complete with a 60-story tall water funnel. Join your Wellspring friends for a day of theme park fun!
Enchanted Forest Water Safari (July 25)
Enjoy hours of fun sliding and swimming at New York’s largest water theme park. With over 50 rides, including 32 heated water rides, there’s something for everyone at Enchanted Forest.
New York City (August 14)
Start the day with a morning walk around Central Park, then head out for sight-seeing and shopping with your friends, and end the day with dinner and a Broadway Show.
