Join an energetic, diverse community of people committed to helping children and adolescents lose weight and change their lives. Wellspring Camps are the worlds leading weight loss camps with seven locations nationally and internationally.
Wellspring introduces campers to a healthy lifestyle by teaching them to love being active in the outdoors. Counselors play a critical role in leading sports, games, and supervising campers during cool outdoor adventure trips! While having lots of fun, campers learn to enjoy a healthy, balanced diet. Finally, Wellspring trains campers on the set of behaviors that they need to become successful weight controllers for the rest of their lives. All staff receive this training as well.

This summer, you may choose from ten Wellspring locations:

1) Wellspring New York – Exclusively for young women ages 12 – 24, Wellspring New York offers challenging activities as well as more traditional aerobics, sports, and traditional camp experiences. Set in the lush surroundings in the heart of the Adirondacks at Paul Smith’s College, recently voted one of America’s 25 Hottest Colleges. |

2) Wellspring Adventure Camp North Carolina – Adventure-based weight loss camp for boys and girls ages 11 – 17. Learn a healthy lifestyle while experiencing the great outdoors with hiking, rock climbing, rapelling, kayaking, and whitewater rafting. The Adventure Camp is tucked into the Blue Ridge Mountains, one hour from the tourist destination of Asheville. |

3) Wellspring California – Located on the brand new campus of CSU Channel Islands, northwest of Los Angeles in legendary Ventura County, this weight loss camp is for boys and girls ages 11 – 18. Enjoy state-of-the-art recreation facilities as well as take advantage of scenic coastal hiking, beaches, and surf breaks. |

4) Wellspring Texas – Weight loss camp for adolescents ages 12 – 17 based on the 200-acre campus of San Marcos Baptist Academy. Tucked in the Texas Hill Country with nearby rivers and magnificent state parks, Wellspring Texas offers exciting activities such as swimming, biking and Nordic walking, with more challenging adventure activities such as kayaking. |

5) Wellspring Wisconsin – Weight loss camp for ages 12 – 18. Nestled in the countryside in the southwest corner of Wisconsin on the beautiful 820-acre campus of University of Wisconsin-Platteville, not far from Chicago, Wellspring Wisconsin provides traditional camp activities and sports, as well as outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, swimming, and canoeing. |

6) Wellspring Family Camp – World’s first weight loss camp for the entire family at the premier world-class golf course and resort of Pinehurst. Children ages 5 – 14 attend, accompanied by one of more parents, for one or two-week sessions. Family Camp activities include personal training, hiking, swimming, as well as a wide variety of energizing activities. Families learn skills for transforming home environment for continued healthy living. |

7) Wellspring Hawaii – L ocated on the slopes of the Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawaii, offering activities as diverse and exciting as Hawaii itself for boys and girls ages 13 – 18. Campers from around the world convene at this destination location for activities such as surfing, snorkeling, outrigger canoe competitions, and climbs into ancient volcanoes. |

8) Wellspring UK – Weight loss camp for ages 12 – 18. Located in the picturesque Lake District in the Northwest of England on a modern and well-equipped campus, Wellspring UK offers both traditional sports and outdoor activities. Campers from around Europe gather at Wellspring UK, sleeping in comfortable and modern dormitories. Overnight adventure trips and expeditions that take advantage of the boundless local landscape provide an unforgettable summer. |

9) Wellspring Australia – Australia’s first weight loss camp for young people. Traveling down the beautiful and diverse eastern coast, Wellspring Australia provides boys and girls ages 12-18 with the opportunity of a lifetime: lose weight and gain the skills required for successful long-term weight control through a 2-week or 4-week camp experience. |

10) Wellspring Academy Summer Program - World’s first therapeutic boarding school for overweight adolescents and young adults. Located on beautiful 68-acre campus for men and women ages 12 – 24, grades 8 through college. Wellspring Academy of California offers the opportunity to lose weight while earning summer school academic credits. For those seeking a longer term alternative for continued improvements in health, campers may also choose to transfer into Wellspring Academy at the conclusion of the summer. Lose weight and catch up or accelerate academically this summer at Wellspring Academy. |

Wellspring Retreats for Adults - 8-day weight loss adventure expeditions for adults designed to produce rapid weight loss and provide participants with the skills, tools and motivation to continue losing weight at home over the following months and years. Each expedition begins at a luxury resort where you’ll learn the renowned Wellspring fitness and weight loss program. From here, we set out on our adventure expedition, where even novices will enjoy whitewater rafting, kayaking, climbing, biking, and navigating ropes courses. At night we’ll stop for comfortable camping and delicious meals you will be able to make at home. The expedition concludes with a day at the spa for treatment and developing a plan for home. |
