At Wellspring, you are in for a summer of weight loss fun like you've never imagined!

Wellspring's commitment is to introduce you to so many fun fitness activities that you'll have plenty of options for staying active when you return home. Many of our campers have never tried the activities we offer at camp and are nervous about taking on the challenge. No problem! Our highly-trained staff will work with you to make sure that your experience is positive and fun, even if you're not usually very active at home.
Different Activities and Trips at Every Wellspring Camp
While many activities are common to all Wellspring Weight Loss Camps, each location takes advantage of its local surroundings to create a truly unique summer of outdoor adventure and on-campus fitness activities. Plus every camp offers an array of special trips throughout the summer. Make sure and check out the trip dates when you schedule your Wellspring Camp session so you don't miss out!

Here's a peek into what you can expect at each camp. Follow the links for a full list of camp activities.
- Wellspring New York: At Wellspring's women-only camp, girls and young women excel at aerobic kick boxing, mountain climbing, Color War, and the ropes course. Trips to Niagara Falls, New York City, and Great Escape Theme Park.
- Wellspring Camp La Jolla: Campers enjoy the diverse offerings of coastal California, including surfing, sea kayaking and hiking. Trips to Seaworld, Knotts Berry Farm, and Disneyland.
- Wellspring Adventure Camp North Carolina: White water rafting, climbing, camping, and hiking in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, plus yoga, team sports and fitness classes back on campus. Trips to Carowinds Theme Park and Dollywood's Splash Country.
- Wellspring Florida: Kayak and snorkel the Atlantic Coast, play beach sports, and bike and hike some of the Sunshine State's most beautiful areas. Trips to Universal Studios, Adventure Island Water Park, and Disney World.

- Wellspring Texas: Tube local rivers, hike the hills of the Texas Hill Country, and return to campus for Color War, fitness classes, team sports and (a Wellspring Texas favorite!) dodge ball tournaments. Trips to Sea World, Six Flags, and Schlitterbahn Water Park."The field trips are so much fun. They were also motivation to work harder. - Wellspring Pennsylvania: Scavenger hunts, weight training, and mini-Olympics on-campus round out the hiking, biking and rafting adventures in the surrounding hills of Pennsylvania. Trips to Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark, Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, and New York City.
- Wellspring Family Camp: A vacation near the beach for the entire family, with swimming, snorkeling, beach games, hiking, biking and great fitness classes. Trips to Seaworld, Knotts Berry Farm, Disneyland, and Hollywood.

- Wellspring UK: Campers enjoy extensive fitness facilities on-campus, and venture into the surrounding area for rafting, ghyll scrambling, windsurfing, and camping. Trips to Legoland, Alton Towers and London Eye.
- Wellspring Wisconsin: Enjoy traditional sports like basketball, soccer, kickball and disc golf, as well as fitness classes and personal training in the newly-renovated fitness facilities. Venture off-campus for rock climbing, hiking, and visits to the zoo. Trips to Kalahari Indoor Theme Park, Noah's Ark Water Park, and Six Flags.
- Wellspring Academy of California: Catch up or get ahead in school while hiking the Sierras, horseback riding at our on-campus stables, and tubing the rivers of Central California. Plus a full schedule of fitness classes, team sports, and swimming.
Attainable (and Sustainable!) Activity Goals
Because we're so active at Wellspring, we like to track just how active we are. That's why at all Wellspring programs we all wear a pedometer with a goal of 10,000 steps per day. Many Wellspring Campers get 20,000 steps a day or more.
Why do we set a daily goal? Because when you're trying to lose weight, you need simple, measurable goals. We want you to experience how good it feels to achieve and exceed daily goals, and to keep on meeting them once you return home. So you can expect to be trained in how to self-monitor your daily activity and how to make setting and reaching goals a part of your daily life.
You'll be amazed at your level of activity and weight loss, and at how much fun you're having. Great times await you at Wellspring Camps!
