And of course-there's the beach! Walkable from campus, the beach provides the perfect backdrop for a memorable family vacation. The famous La Jolla Cove is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding, surfing, kayaking and enjoying incredible sunset walks.
Wellspring Family Camp is easily reached by car, train or plane, with pick-up service at San Diego International Airport (SAN) and Solana Beach Train Station on session start and end dates. Our proximity to Southern California's famous tourist destinations also means we offer a great range of special trips for families.
Wellspring Family Camp Facilities
Our campus features a $35 million fitness center, complete with beautiful studios for yoga, Zumba and kick boxing, strength training and cardio suites, indoor climbing walls, racquetball courts, and multiple gymnasia. Outside, groomed playing fields, tennis and basketball courts, and walking/running trails offer plenty of fitness options for all members of your family.
Surrounded by the natural wonderland of La Jolla Cove, off-campus fitness options abound. Hiking Torrey Pines Nature Reserve, mountain biking in wooded trails, kayaking with families of seals, and enjoying long walks along the beautiful coastline-these are a few of the experiences afforded by our ideal location. And the surf in La Jolla is ideal for swimming, boogie boarding, and surfing.
During your stay at Family Camp, you'll enjoy a private 4-bedroom suite, comprised of 4 single rooms, a bathroom and living room. Our family suites are adjacent to the $35 million fitness center. Accommodations are comfortable and modern, with air-conditioning and on-site laundry facilities. Many of the rooms have great views! Meals are eaten in the spacious dining hall with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
