After Care Program
Wellspring is unique among weight loss camps in continuing to work with campers long after they return home.In the last week of camp, Wellspring campers are introduced to Wellspring’s online after-care program. Located at www.myselfmonitoring.com, campers are required to log on daily to continue:
- Self-monitoring
- Journaling
- Goal setting
- Communicating with their behavioral coach
- Weigh in (weekly)
- They also continue to communicate with other campers.
Behavioral coaches observe campers' progress and communicate with them in private online discussions. This continued interaction reinforces their efforts and assist with problem solving.
The after-care program continues for three months. The cost of this program ($400) is required as part of Wellspring's tuition.
However, for campers who complete the after-care program with the level of consistency Wellspring requires (i.e., continuing to self-monitor 75% of the time or more), Wellspring will refund the full cost of the after-care program.
For families who wish to extend the after-care program beyond 3 months, it can be extended for another 3 months at a cost of $200.
After-care accounts are also available at no cost for all family members who wish to participate alongside and support campers through the fall.
